Lester was born to Robert Doles and Altha May Schubarth on the 4th of April 1909 in Medicine Lodge, Barber County, Kansas. (searching for records)

In 1910 at the age of 2, Lester and his family lived in Melon Field, Bent, Colorado as lodgers with the Robertson family.

In 1920 at the age of 11, Lester (called Charles here) and his family now live in Precinct 43, El Paso, Colorado on their own farm.

In 1930 at the age of 21, Lester had left his family and resides in Mingona, Barber, Kansas. He is a lodger with the Simpson family and works as a farm laborer.

On the 12th of July 1936, at the age of 27, Lester marries Minnie Irene Thomas in Colorado Springs, Fremont, Colorado.

Lester and Minnie give birth to their 1st child, Robert Lester Doles on the 17th of October 1937 in Colorado. (Searching for records)
A few years later, on the 16th of October 1940, Lester signed his WWII draft card. This card shows Lester is living in Cotopaxi, Fremont, Colorado. The card also describes Lester as a tall man at 6' 1" with brown hair and blue eyes and light skin.

Lester and Minnie give birth to their 2nd child, Charles Edward Doles sometime between 1939 and 1941 in Colorado. (Searching for records)
Lester and Minnie give birth to their 3rd child Barbara Ellen Doles on the 24th of October 1942 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. (Searching for records)
Sometime between Barbara's birth and the 1950 Census, Lester and Minnie are separated. (Searching for records)

From here Lester is pretty illusive so I will continue to track him down to see where he went from their separation to his final resting place in Kansas.
On the 11th of February 1977 Lester Charles Doles passed away. He was buried in Old Cemetery, in the city of Goodland, Kansas.
