​​Ancestral Truth Seeker is a family history blog started by husband-and-wife team, Tim and Audrey Newland, who enjoy learning history and have 20+ years of experience in immigration. This naturally led to a love of genealogy.

 

We all get curious about our ancestors. With so many documents, name variations, duplicate names, false or tainted information it can be difficult to know where to start.

Searching history can be fun. Until it's not. I'm sure we've all experienced our research getting... well... cluster f***ed.

Biases, lies, shame, incomplete research and those who willfully maintain/perpetuate false records - causes a huge headache for those who want the truth. And - not to mention - even more detective work.

The truth is not subjective.

That's why we created this website. We want to become a reliable source for an ever growing collection of accurate family history. Starting with our family lines. No B.S. Just facts and proof.
